Blast-off

Yesterday a mate and I made the trip to a show in Fredericia. We had a busy schedule as the main purpose of the trip was to pick up one of these babies:

I got it cheap (and I mean really cheap) from my mates father who is about to complete his third E-Type resto......
We had a great day browsing the classics at the show, and luckily for me I am quite content with my current selection of cars, though I could do with a few more saloons if I had the space!
After lunch we had a good look at the resto work completed on the E-type, and I must say I was really impressed with the standard. I snapped a few pictures, but I think this car should be seen in the flesh when completed.
I have been assured that one of the first outings well be the CHGP 2011(not racing).

I had hoped to find something interesting at one of the jumble stands at the show, but I returned home empty handed... On the plus side as I have mentioned previously the screenwash pump on the saloon is identical to the one on a jaguar....so the hunt continues!
